This study aims to explore the effect of risk and experience perception on online transaction intentions, with the added perceptions of benefits and ease of use of technology as moderating variables.

The results showed that both risk perceptions and experience significantly affect the intention to transact online. That is, the higher the perception of the risk felt, the lower the intention of a person to make a transaction. Conversely, positive experiences in online transactions can increase these intentions.

When someone feels that the technology used is useful and easy to understand, the positive influence of experience can be stronger, and risk perception can be minimized.
