For example, the reduction in the loss of exhaust gas can be achieved by improving the isolation system and increasing a more perfect combustion process.

Boiler efficiency of 81.48% is an indication that there is still space for improvement. By carrying out proper improvement and maintenance steps, not only the efficiency of the boiler can be increased, but also the overall efficiency of the Labuhan Angin PLTU. This of course has an impact on reducing operational costs and increasing the competitiveness of PLTU in meeting the energy needs that continue to increase in North Sumatra.

By knowing where the loss occurs and how much value is, strategic steps can be taken to increase efficiency and in the end, the competitiveness of the PLTU in the Energy Market. This knowledge is not only beneficial for current operations but also as a basis for future planning in the development and improvement of the electrical system in Indonesia.
