Quality of Life of Catholic Young People (OMK) in the Archdiocese of Medan: A Study on the Welfare of Catholic Youth

Introduction

The quality of life is a crucial indicator to assess the welfare of a community, including Catholic young people. In the Medan Archdiocese (KAM), a study was conducted to explore the quality of life of Catholic youth. The results of descriptive analysis showed that the average quality value of respondents was 67,7854 with a standard deviation of 13,24579. The range of values obtained shows that the maximum value achieved by respondents is 100 and the minimum value is 19. The interesting findings of this study are that 330 Catholic young people, who are equivalent to 91.7%, have good quality of life. Conversely, there are 30 young Catholics or 8.3% who are declared to have a poor quality of life.
