The results showed that the edible film had a negative effect on the bacterium Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. The clear zone produced in two samples with a concentration of 0.023 cfu/ml indicated the antibacterial activity of the film. Further analysis using the Standard Plate Count method showed that the number of bacterial colonies in sausages wrapped in edible films was less than sausages that were not wrapped.
