The analysis focused on the physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of soil, including pH, C-organic, N-total, P-Available, K, Bulk density, porosity, and land permeability.

Results

The results showed that some soil parameters, such as pH, C-organic, N-total, P-Available, K, Bulk density, porosity, and land permeability, were strongly influenced by land management. Soil permeability, which is the ability of the soil to drain water, showed a significant correlation with C-organic content (0.885*) and CO2 (0.960 **). This indicates that an increase in C-organic content will contribute to the improvement of soil permeability.

In the analysis of soil chemical characteristics, pH has a significant correlation with K (potassium) and P-Available, with a value of 0.896* and 0.881* respectively. Additionally, P-Available also shows a significant correlation to K, with a value of 0.893*. This shows that these elements interact with each other and can affect the overall quality of the soil.

Discussion

Managing soil quality is essential for sustainable agriculture, and each type of land use has a different way of management. Good management can improve soil quality, for example, the use of organic fertilizer can increase C-organic levels and, simultaneously, improve soil pH, thus creating better conditions for plant growth.
