However, there are still some inconsistencies in the application of journalistic language characteristics in nine news that is used as research data. The inconsistency includes aspects such as kebrevitas, clarity, summaries, correct grammar, the right choice of words (diction), priority for the use of active sentences, and avoidance of the use of technical terms. In addition, news should also comply with journalistic ethical rules.
