Methodology

The sample in this study was taken using the cluster sampling technique, which involves selecting a group of patients who share similar characteristics. In this case, six variables were studied to understand their effect on the level of patient satisfaction. The variables included:

Data processing was done using SPSS 17.0 software for Windows, which helped in testing validity, reliability, and factor analysis. The results of the analysis were then used to identify the dominant factors that contribute to the level of patient satisfaction.

The results of the analysis show that there are two dominant factors that contribute significantly to the level of patient satisfaction, namely hospital facilities and service responsiveness. Specifically, the facility factor contributed 37.011% and the responsiveness factor contributed 18.939%. The combination of these two factors includes around 55.950% of variations in patient satisfaction, which shows that these two factors are key elements in improving patient experience.
