Introduction

The Medan-Berastagi road section, particularly in the Sugo Village KM 25+200, has been a subject of concern due to the need for slope reinforcement. The safety factor value obtained through the Final Project of the University of North Sumatra was 1,238, which is still less than the security benchmark of 1.5. To improve slope security, this research aims to explore three alternative reinforcement methods using the assistance of the Geoslope Program/W 2007. The goal is to increase the safety factor value to more than 1.5 and provide a sense of security for road users.
